Objective
I was tasked with assisting my client in designing the mobile app for Wellcure, a digital community platform focused on promoting a naturally healthy lifestyle and helping users build an illness-free, medicine-free life. The app aimed to facilitate learning, sharing, and implementing changes towards sustaining natural health.
Core problems
During our research for the natural healthcare remedies mobile app, we identified several key problems
- People have developed a habit of consuming unhealthy food in their daily routines, and they are often unaware of their body’s innate healing mechanisms
- Lack of easily accessible resources to provide tips and guidance for tackling health crises through positive lifestyle changes
- Individuals struggle to find a dedicated space where they can interact, learn, and share their experiences related to health.
Goal
The goal of the Wellcure was to:
- Creating a user-friendly platform that allows individuals to learn more about the natural laws governing their health
- A community-driven hub where users can ask questions, seek advice, and find inspiration from like-minded individuals on their journey towards better health

Extensive repository of healthy recipes and videos, empowering users to make informed choices and actively participate in their own well-being
Approach
Working as a sole designer, I followed a design thinking approach to understand the business and user requirements. I conducted stakeholder and user interviews to gather insights and prepared an information architecture to structure the app’s content. Additionally, I created low-fidelity wireframes to outline the app’s layout and interactions, followed by UI design and testing.
Dashboard & Navigation
A user-friendly home screen for healthcare blogs, recipes, and video tutorials. Prioritizes ease of navigation to enhance user experience
Ecommerce store
Browse and order a wide range of rare and hard-to-find vegetables, foods, and ingredients conveniently, bridging the gap between local markets and your shopping needs
VIDEO TURORIALS
Access to a dedicated course section on the app, offering live and recorded videos from health professionals, allowing users to learn and gain insights directly from experts
Result
The mobile app for Wellcure was successfully launched and gained significant traction, with over 80,000 downloads on both Android and Apple app stores. The design thinking approach, user-centered design, and iterative testing contributed to a user-friendly and visually appealing app that resonated with the target audience.
